Abstract
The present project for graduation and degree in electromechanical engineering, aims to develop a methodology for the configuration and connection of the network analyzer equipment, as well as the measurement and analysis of the information obtained, evidencing electrical deviations with respect to the standards that apply (IEEE Std 1159-2009 – V 2014 “Recommended Practice and Requirements for Harmonic Control in Electrical Power Systems”, Resolution CREG 070/98 “Reglamento de distribución de energía eléctrica. Numeral 6, Calidad de potencia suministrada”, NTC 5501 “Calidad de la potencia eléctrica. Límites y metodología de evaluación en un punto de conexión común”), it will also contain instructions for the selection of technological solutions for harmonics and reactive systems in the system. Two measurements are made that show different conditions of electromagnetic phenomena, which allowed us to analyze the system in general and find deviations in the power factor and in the harmonic distortion rate; With this detailed information on the deviations, it is possible to dimension the capacitor bank to compensate the reactive power by increasing the power factor, as well as the selection of the filter to mitigate harmonics in the system. The procedures elaborated in the document can be applied to issue observations, recommendations and solutions according to the electrical parameters studied, always based on national and international standards and resolutions.
