Abstract
The objective of this research is to develop an architectural proposal for a Resocialization
center for young people between the ages of 18 and 25 with criminal behavior to improve prison
treatment. This is because our prison system has serious problems, which have worsened over
time, the Lack of resources has generated overcrowding and led to corruption in prisons. In the
Rivera penitentiary, they do not train for work, they do not educate adequately, they do not
dignify the person and, most seriously, they do not promote the repair of damage caused to the
victims, there is no system that helps the social reintegration of the inmates.
Therefore, it is concluded that the lack of infrastructure, the lack of equipment, the poor
administrative management and the null reaction of the authorities in charge do not allow an
appropriate environment within the prisons, generating overcrowding.
