Abstract
This monographic compilation document aims to provide an approach to pedagogical and
didactic proposals related to the teaching of the Colombian armed conflict. This
compilation is understood as a critical and self-reflective look at the teaching of the armed
conflict in Colombia, its analysis is carried out from the socio-critical paradigm, so it takes
into account appreciations of a liberating and social critical with interest that come from the
group and its needs.
The process of searching for categories was related firstly directly to the empirical
collection of information during pedagogical practices through observations, conversations,
analysis of the context and curricular content in the social sciences, secondly from
bibliographic systematizations because there is a sequential relationship of the same tools
looks, and even postures used to teach the Colombian armed conflict. The categories found
in this study are: Pedagogy of historical memory, pedagogy for peace, forgiveness and
reconciliation in theaters of armed conflict, recent history, social fabric and historical
memory. These categories were developed under a conceptual analysis seen from a wide
range of perspectives, which sought to emphasize the reason why these categories are
present in the teachings of the Colombian internal armed conflict, which is why the teacher
is offered a series of lessons learned from the critical-reflective methodological proposals
that are currently being used to to face the social problems on which this compilation is
based.
The learning that can be obtained from this monographic compilation has its origin in
understanding the importance that should be given to the armed conflict in the classroom as
a thematic axis since this allows the victims to be made visible, to include all the voices in
the official speeches on the war, Generate spaces of forgiveness and reconciliation With
which the teacher can contribute to heal the wounds of armed violence that has left many
generations without knowing a country in peace.
