Abstract
This article presents a case study on the modifications in the risk management policy of a Healthcare Provider Institution, caused by the change in the work modality, from face-to-face work to teleworking due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An understanding of the new way of working in the institution is carried out, the challenges that have had to be overcome for its implementation and the risk management policy existing before the pandemic is identified.
An analysis is made of the changes in the institution's risk management policy, including teleworking as a solution tool in the face of the isolation measure decreed by the Colombian authorities, and finally, recommendations and adjustments are presented from the point of view of the auditor of systems that help in the risk management process and are reflected in the institution's policies as good practices.
