Abstract
At present La Esperanza farm located in the Quiche sidewalk of the municipality of Chiquinquirá, has a blackberry crop with a total of 3,000 plants, which does not have a technified irrigation system; initially the land is divided into three sections, however according to the hydraulic design from the storage tank to the crop, the land is divided into the lower section and the upper section, drippers are used at the base of each plant with a flow of 2 l/h, the water requirement of the crop is found from weather factors and is 7954.6 l/day, irrigation is by sections and two irrigations every day are carried out per day by gravity using a raised tank, the piping system is designed with three pipe sections, dripper pipes, branch pipes and the main pipe with diameters of 16 mm, 31.8 mm and 50.8 mm, respectively, and with different accessories. It was necessary to carry out the structural design with a height of 2200 mm, for the elevated tank using solidworks and simulating with different types of loads, the final model consists of a square and rectangular tubular profile, anchor bolts, base plate and concrete footing. At the request of the owner of the farm, the available pump is used, a QB 80 with 25.4 mm pipes. Due to the use of the timer, it is only necessary to program the automation for three hours of watering in the morning and three in the afternoon.
