Abstract
Objective: Compare the efficacy in the bone osteogenesis, the processes of pain and inflammation in the post-surgical process of lower third molar tooth socket than received platelet-rich Fibrin versus lower third molar tooth socket without platelet-rich Fibrin (normal wound healing physiological process) at the Dental School Surgical Center of the Antonio Nariño University campus Palmira for the period of February 2019 to June year 2020. Materials and Methods: A non-randomized controlled clinical trial was implemented with 7 patients, all of them adults, with bilateral lower third molars indicated extraction, this patients met the inclusion criteria, where a regeneration material was introduced, in the tooth socket of 48 Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), and 38 did not receive regenerative material.
