Abstract
The present degree work seeks to develop a monitoring system to facilitate the acquisition of data obtained in the measurement of impact energy during the test carried out with the Charpy pendulum available in the materials laboratory of the Universidad Antonio Nariño, headquarters Bucaramanga, this will be developed through an algorithm in LabVIEW that will allow saving the different measurements and also displaying the values obtained in the test on a computer. Currently, the exact measurement of this variable cannot be performed because the scale of the degrees of displacement visualization The hammer is very wide and the calculation is done manually.
