Abstract
The integral work of degree consists of carrying out a study of low-voltage distribution electrical circuits in order to analyze and describe the affectations that appear when they show load imbalance between their phases. Simultaneously, the technical and economic impact generated by the lack of a predictive maintenance program that contributes to mitigate possible unscheduled outages of the service that arise due to unbalanced loads in the electrical circuits are described and analyzed. On the other hand, the environmental impact that is generated by faults in the secondary terminals of the transformers where there is a dielectric oil leak is described, which because they are of mineral origin pollute the environment. The development of this process drafted in the document is limited to the low-voltage distribution circuits located in the Cúcuta metropolitan area, which were selected through the complaints or allegations that are transmitted on social networks.
