Abstract
The purpose of this undergraduate project is to design and build a tank plant coupled by means of diffuse control techniques, to obtain the control and monitoring of variables that appear in this process. This type of unconventional control systems is currently used in industrial processes, neural networks, genetic algorithms, among others, also being considered as control systems that can be treated by means of traditional control such as PID systems. In this work, we selected the management of diffuse control systems through the MATLAB® software tool, accessing the original license of the software provided by the university and giving good use to these tools with academic benefits that are available to students and dozen of the institution. A communication was made between the hardware that involves sensors and servo valves with the software in order to have measurement and control results. This communication is carried out by means of an acquisition card which allows us to only make the communication between the hardware and the software. This control plant was designed and implemented for academic purposes for the execution of laboratory practices in the control area at the Antonio Nariño University, Tunja headquarters.
