Abstract
The objective of this research is to design a control system and management indicators for the storage processes in the logistics of the Steckerl Aceros Cartagena Company, which allows a reduction in the times of reception, preparation and dispatch of materials in the warehouse. To achieve this, it is proposed to carry out a series of related operations, such as planning and information; management with a rationalistic and systemic vision of the loading and unloading of materials and products; the quality control of materials and products and the labeling, consolidation and placement of materials and products. Through this approach, it is proposed to establish protocols that regulate the entire process of receiving materials and products, standardization of winery control operations, in addition to having three management indicators that must be met in each of the processes, such as efficiency, coordination and time management. It is recommended, among others, to constantly train the personnel related to the winery, for the correct application of the protocol and to implement security mechanisms and monitoring of materials and products to avoid loss and / or deterioration. Finally, the implementation of the ABC inventory is suggested, which will allow improving all the processes.
