Abstract
The research was carried out with the objective of analyzing the perception of patients who have not completed dental treatment at the Clinic of the Antonio Nariño UAN University, during the period 2015 - 2018, for this it was necessary to know the causes and degree of satisfaction . In this sense, the methodology used to carry out the objectives of this research was descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional, using data from primary and secondary sources of information, with a quantitative approach. The population was made up of adult patients whose treatment was not fully completed at the UAN clinic, finding an average of 204 medical records, of which 130 of them met the inclusion criteria.
As results, it was determined that the causes of non-continuation of the treatment of the 130 patients surveyed were 78%, who manifested the lack of economic resources to travel from the area of residence to the UAN clinic; Another cause was delays in assigning appointments, waiting for dental treatment, 9% argued that the dental intervention did not meet their satisfaction expectations. As a conclusión, it can be determined that the perception by which the patients did not finish the dental treatment was determined by external factors of scarce economic resources to constantly travel to the UAN clinic, related to dissatisfaction due to the delays in the assignment of appointments and waiting in the attention to the health service.
