Abstract
Today, the increase in urban development is causing cities to suffer high environmental degradation and an increase in informal neighborhoods. In Colombia, the city of Bogotá is the city with the highest cost of quality of life, which causes low-income families to choose to live in what were previously called informal neighborhoods. To prevent this from happening, the Colombian government generates subsidies so that the poorest families in the country can access a home on legal urban land. In this work, a state of knowledge will be carried out where it is proposed that the buildings are sustainable, some of the technologies that have been implemented. In addition, carry out an analysis of the feasibility of implementing sustainable buildings for VIS and VIP homes in the town of Kennedy, since it is one of the towns where the most population is concentrated in the city, as well as being one of the most polluting.
