Abstract
This work has as a known the skills that the sixth grade's students of Susana Wesley school develop using the Open Educational Resources (REA) called Khan Academy (KA) as a support tool to teach and strengthen basic concepts for statistics students. On the other hand. The RAE have been incorporated in the classrooms and have been an important support for the teaching-learning process that is carried out from home due to the confinement that has been since March 2029 in Colombia. During two months in the statistics class with the leadership and accompaniment of the teacher, the students worked in KA on topics such as: frequency, population, and sample tables; interpretation of graphs, probability, and measures of central tendency. At the beginning of the implementation there were some difficulties with the handling of this and in the understanding of some interpretation of graphs and the inference from random samples. However, in the way of the Khan Academy implementation, the significative progress was made, the students became familiar with KA and improve several of their skills.
