Abstract
Intimate partner violence over the years has become a difficult struggle to confront, it can be said that in most cases this situation is inflicted on women or different members of the family nucleus, leading to different types of aggressions, mistreatments and disagreements that are negative aspects of a behavior of the perpetrator towards his victim. With what has been described above, this research gives a theoretical journey through the main authors who have defined intimate partner violence as a behavior, as a step towards the bad practices that take place in the love relationship, also, based on said journey Theoretical seeks to determine patterns of psychological behavior in relationships as this problem affects young adults, therefore lines of research will be established that can be seen throughout this writing, continuing to this the theory and practices about the violence of The couple will give rise to a more in-depth understanding of this concept, this accompanied by a series of catefories that will make an analysis of the perception that adults have regarding the problem raised, these categories are; 1. The self-reference that understands the principles are established by the person when they build their own reality and 2. The hetero-reference that are the changes brought by the people who communicate are sensations in a different way than usual. Continuing with this, an interpretation will be made based on the main theoretical arguments that support this research, this defining more clearly intimate partner violence. Finally, the point of view that young adults have about this problem will be made known through a semi-structured interview that will give rise to a conversation regarding behavior in the family and relational nucleus, that is, the why attitudes negative that in many cases lead the person who practices intimate partner violence to suffer from behaviors that are not typical of the human being through an interpretation of results based on the categories described above, this concluding that intimate partner violence is not a appropriate behavior as emanated by the people who were interviewed for this research.
