Abstract
The main objective of the research was to recognize the different types of cyberbullying that occur through the use of information and communication technologies and how they can affect young women who practice modeling from the perspective of gender violence; The research question is the following, What are the psychosocial effects of cyberbullying in young women who practice modeling?
The exploration was developed through a qualitative method, based on a descriptive scope; in addition, two instruments are designed and applied. A semi-structured interview with 21 questions, directed at 3 women who practice modeling and a structured interview with 7 questions directed at the 3 study subjects, with the participation of 1 lawyer and 1 psychologist.
In summary, the result was little knowledge on the part of the study subjects regarding the phenomenon and its types; on the other hand, an emotional impact is exposed within the personal, family and social sphere of the victims and the perception that the victim has of the profile of the perpetrator, where emotional voids, insecurity, lack of education and interpersonal conflicts prevail.
