Abstract
In Colombia, the building of habitability, has seen a development and boom in recent years, but in the desire to have a much higher and faster profit margin, they do not realize that, at an architectural level, a design that delivers the optical conditions of habitability to the users, this based on the studies of Tarchópulos and Ceballos (Tarchópulos Doris, 2003). The housing deficit in the country and particularly in the city of Bogotá, puts into operation low-cost housing, reducing the space in the home as much as possible. Therefore, it is essential to develop a device that meets the needs of comfort, organization and functionality. In the different contexts of habitability, the reduced spaces in low-income housing in the city of Bogotá allow us to create and develop diverse experiences. The relationship between the space and the elements to be stored will establish the comfort of the users who will use the product. By means of the present it is intended to propose a design, where a structured modular system is developed from the study of ergonomic variability for kitchens in residential buildings in Bogotá, which optimizes space adequately; where the design concept is to group several activities in one element, to satisfy the casual needs of the space through constructive relationships that consider improving the distribution and expanding the space when the objects are not in use.
