Sistema Semiautomático de Medición de Tiempos para Puestos de Trabajo de la Banda Transportadora del Laboratorio de Procesos Universidad de Boyacá
(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Rodríguez Cuervo, Andrés Felipe; Orjuela Cañón, Álvaro David
In the laboratory of industrial engineering of the University of Boyac´a, there is a mechanical conveyor belt in disuse. This situation allowed to generate the possibility of generating a project that allows to put it into operation to develop properly the practices of manual assembly of a product of the subject of methods and times. In this way, the purpose of the present proposal is to automate it according to the operational needs and materials that the Mechatronics Engineering laboratory has.

Currently, renewable energy resources have the highest growth rates, especially solar energy has been number one. However, dealing with the intermittent nature of solar energy is the main challenge for its use. Variations in the reception of solar energy on the panel cause fluctuations that affect the voltage and current, making the regulation and investment system are fundamental for the system. These power converters added to the use of non-linear loads generate different problems, one of the most characteristic being the harmonics. Consequently, there is a great impact on the quality of energy in the distribution systems.

Predicción de series temporales de incidencia de tuberculosis pulmonar a partir de algoritmos de inteligencia computacional
(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Sánchez Vega, Iván Camilo; Jutinico Alarcón, Andres Leonardo; Orjuela Cañon, Álvaro David
In accordance with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Health of Colombia: ”Towards the end of tuberculosis”, this initiative is designed to seek participatory strategies that cooperate with the prediction of new cases of pulmonary tuberculosis. Among the limitations faced by Colombia in the health sector are those caused by the scarcity of computational models that support disease prediction.

Diseño y construcción de un dispositivo para la toma de datos de la flexión interfalángica proximal de los dedos de la mano mediante sensores IMU
(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Serrano Puerto, Wilson Javier; Orjuela Vargas, Sergio Alejandro
This document presents the results obtained in the project presented as the Master's thesis in instrumentation and automation at the Antonio Nariño University. In this project a prototype is proposed to measure the interphalangeal flexion of the fingers of the hand by means of the intersection angle of two inertial sensors, giving a more precise alternative, a conventional measurement performed by finger goniometers. This project consisted of quantifying the degree of mobility of the interphalangeal joints present in the fingers of the hand, and to achieve this, a device with inertial sensors located in each of the phalanges of the finger to be assessed was designed and developed. The graphical interface was created for Android operating systems and allows the operator to register in the system and manage the information of the users to be evaluated to later be stored in a database in the cloud.

Desarrollo de una herramienta computacional basada en redes neuronales para el diagnóstico del tizón tardío en cultivos de papa
(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Ortiz Daza, Camilo Andrés; Erazo Ordoñez, Christian Camilo
Late blight (Phythottora Infestas) is a disease that seriously affects potato crops, causing a negative impact on the farmer's economy. This project will generate a computational tool called NeuroPI - 2105 based on a convolutional neural network created by the author, which classifies two types of leafs that are; healthy and sick. The network has been trained with 1304 images from the PlantVillage database, 304 of them correspond to healthy leaves, the remainder being attributed to late blight. The training algorithm has used the Adam gradient descent, the cross-entropy error function, and backpropagation, in order to adjust the synaptic weights and threshold levels in the network.

Greenhouse agriculture is part of a solution to climate management for plants through crop protection; however, agriculture indoor production systems present dynamics with nonlinearities, model uncertainties, and disturbances. The above generates unfavorable ecological conditions and low uniformity for environmental variables. Due to these premises, the current project sets out to design a control strategy to manage climatic variables such as temperature using robust techniques using a dynamic greenhouse model with specific characteristics extracted from the bibliography. The project has the following stages: recognition and implementation of the dynamic model to be used; simulation of the greenhouse model through software; design of a control strategy for the greenhouse using the algorithms: "Robust Regulator for Discrete-time Markov Jump Linear systems" in comparison with the "robust Linear Quadratic Regulator "; and finally the interpretation and analysis of the results to validate the most appropriate strategy based on the robustness of the controller, the simulation is performed in Matlab, through the use of an existing greenhouse model, studied and extracted from the bibliography, the project hopes to obtain the control strategy that achieves the desired adjustments.
