However, palliative care physicians treat people with chronic or end-stage diseases, so we believe this exposure may increase anxiety risk.

El Cuerpo de La Eutanasia, experiencia de Los Paliativistas respecto a esta, Colombia 2022
(Universidad Antonio Nariño) Isaza Narváez, Ana Milena; Melo Barbosa, Olga Patricia
The present investigation tackles the phenomenon of euthanasia from the phenomenological approach of Merleau-Ponty about the construction of the body as part of an integral perspective that comes from the experience of the patient, his family and, principally the professional in charge of executing the technical act. Approaching the perspective of the medics specialized in palliative care as companions in the process of euthanasia is relevant not only because there exists a series of preconceptions that make difficult both access to the procedure and the procedure itself for the patient and his close family.
