Abstract
A Book Fair is an opportunity to engage in dialogues and point out crossroads. Between Cali and Naples, these dialogues are close, and the crossroads converge in cinema, gastronomy, literature, arts, but above all, in football fandom. Cali and Naples have, by matters of destiny, an interesting point of contact: Diego Armando Maradona, and this book you have in your hands right now aims to document the astonishing, and we could add "mind-blowing," stories that connect the legendary Argentinean number 10 with two geographically distant but genetically adjacent cities, like two goalposts on the same field where a football genius rests at its center but also an idol with feet of clay who perhaps erased with diverted paths the glory born from his own feet (and a few "hand of God" moments). Great regional writers are part of this journalistic and narrative selection, tasked with documenting stories that, due to their uniqueness, do not deserve disappearance and oblivion.
