Abstract
Environmental education in Colombia is governed by the Environmental Education Law, the National Environmental System and some laws, such as Law 1549 of 2012 whose purpose is the “training of critical and reflective people with the ability to understand the environmental problems of their contexts (local, regional and national). Which includes the teaching-learning process of teachers and students in the social, cultural, political, and economic framework, since from teaching methods and techniques to the development of awareness and critical thinking to the environmental problems of Colombia as this helps for the student to contextualize himself from the real problems of his country. As a result of this, the design of the didactic material arises, an electronic recreational book structured from four environmental problems in Colombia in the departments of Choco, Amazonas, Magdalena and Antioquia which talks about the adventure of a traveler named Wally, this helps to guide the student to learn about their country in environmental, social and cultural contexts. Since this strategy allows the student a union of adventure and the teaching of environmental problems from a fun and conscious context about the care of Colombian biodiversity, allowing the sixth-grade student to achieve intercultural learning. The purpose of this teaching material is to achieve in sixth grade students a significant knowledge and learning in the care and preservation of their cultural space, generating in them a development of values and environmental awareness. Likewise, it is recommended in the application or implementation of this material the mutual work between teacher-student in which, from practice and development, it is possible to have a relationship of knowledge and knowledge from the structured transversal activities of the content of the book recreational.
