Abstract
Having a quality management system in the company is synonymous with
competitiveness in the market which gives added value to each product and company in general.
Having the most up-to-date within the company always helps to be at the forefront in every step
it takes.
In Colombia, many companies have an obsolete quality management system which does
not meet the current specifications that companies need to be certified. In this work he seeks to
evaluate, observe and update a quality management system; going from the 2008 version to the
2015 version. In which the main objective is the update, starting from an initial diagnosis, in
which it is to enter the database and verify that the documentation could comply with the update
of the ISO NORMATIVE 9001: 2015 specifying it within an array that it has, that it is missing,
that it is updated and when. All this through the observation and verification tool with a group of
professionals. Subsequently, it followed the determination of interested parties and an internal
and external analysis of the company which the tool used was an analysis or SWOT matrix
specified and characterized for the compliance and identification of the compliance of the
company. As a third step, a final diagnosis and comparison of these two was made, where the
files that need to be updated, created, eliminated, matrices and documentation were observed, in
addition to the comparison and possible solutions that the company over the years can take
advantage of as a continuous improvement of the same, which was evidenced that it is
complying with the update and the percentage of change.
