Abstract
Currently, a lot of value is placed on the development of projects in clean technologies in order to mitigate the environmental impact and this is where the importance of the term efficiency lies. To measure the efficiency of an electric motor it is possible by following many methodologies, but it requires that the production line be stopped. efficiency, being an indirect measurement, requires the acquisition of some variables such as input power and output power, therefore, all the necessary information is also required to understand the variables involved in said measurements.
This degree work describes the design and simulation of a bench for measuring the efficiency of electric motors according to minimally invasive methodologies in the production line in order to contribute to the training of students. For this, the conditions, needs and design requirements are determined, before the calculation and selection of the elements. The development of the software used, the user guide and the operation specifications are also presented. This project seeks beneficiaries to the engineering and technology students of the Buga headquarters FIMEB and visitors to the laboratory, where they can have a different vision on the importance of having efficient engines.
