Abstract
This compilation monograph addresses the digital divide in Latin America
focusing on the underlying problems that compose it, conducting a search
and bibliographic analysis of 35 documents in book-type format, journal article
scientific and book chapter, the work was developed in four phases which go from the
identification of the topic to be discussed until the establishment of conclusions and findings, to
the data analysis generated categories that are directly related to the topic
exposed, the selected categories are: the digital divide, ICT in education,
digital appropriation, digital citizenship, digital policies, digital access and skills
digital; its conceptualization and relationship with the subject is observed based on the different
contributions of the authors addressed.
