Abstract
Radiología Digital S.A.S. is a company dedicated to providing teleradiology services; service that belongs to one of the medical specialties of telemedicine. The company performs the readings and interpretations of radiological studies, which are made up of a certain number of projections of diagnostic images. The radiological studies are sent from the Health Service Provider Institutions (IPS) of the city of Bogotá and outside of it, to Radiología Digital SAS. On some occasions these radiological studies come with novelties, which, some come from failures in the process of acquisition of diagnostic images and affect the interpretation by the radiologist. Another difficulty present in the radiological study is present when the radiological doctors of this company perform the radiological interpretation without notifying any novelty in the system, since it does not present errors in its quality, but said interpretation does not contribute to the resolution of the diagnosis, this because the radiological study can arrive with projections that little or no information of value contribute for the diagnosis. In this project, an information system is implemented for the recommendation of radiological parameters in the acquisition of medical images, for a certain type of code of the Unique Classification of Health Procedures (CUPS). According to the statistical analysis carried out, the chest radiograph was chosen because it had the greatest number of novelties related to the acquisition protocol in the databases of the company Radiología Digital SAS. The information system offers the radiology technologist a guide regarding the projections and voltage levels and distance between the focus-film, necessary for the acquisition of chest medical images.
