Abstract
The present project has been made with the purpose of offering the company BOROCO S. A. S, the design of an export plan for the Colombian Special Coffee Bourbon Variety, whose qualities and product characteristics (softness and aroma), will allow the coverage of new markets abroad, especially in the United Kingdom, where this project is focused on, given the optimal conditions of product acceptance (coffee oriented culture, frequent purchasing habits of the product, etc.). With the strategies of the export plan, it will be possible to identify the opportunities of the product and give benefits and advantages to the company and its value chain. Similarly, with this plan it is expected an increase of international sales with an aspiring earning per unit of 25%, making the export project profitable. The above, would help the company decrease the risk of being in one market and depend on a single customer base, and so guarantee its relevance in the industry. For the logistics of the plan, the Incoterm that will be used is DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded) as it is the one that will help the optimization of the international physical distribution of the product.
