Abstract
ABSTRACT
The objective of this research project is to establish the resilient characteristics of a 41-year-old single-parent mother, who has the possibility of forced displacement and who has 3 children, who lives in Magangué Bolívar. This study took place in Magangué Bolívar and the city of Bogotá, after the participation of a participant who lives in Magangué Bolívar, who through 3 in-depth interviews revealed the resilience of being displaced by violence and being burden of his family, which has a single parent structure. The results are based on 4 categories, which are Autonomy, Projection of purpose and future, Resolution of problems and social competences, identification in their resilient characteristics that help to have a better quality of life despite going through traumatic events, such as forced displacement, losing the economic and emotional stability that the nuclear family had at the time, starting from scratch in other cities, and being alone with 3 children and a niece. What makes her a resilient woman, since she did not surrender to the aforementioned adversities; if not, on the contrary, he was able to start his own business, he also studied and in addition to that I guarantee higher studies for his older son.
