Abstract
The degree work was carried out to identify the emotional state of caregivers of children with visual disabilities in three participants, being a grandmother and two maternal aunts of children with this disability, who perform the role of caregivers, I used the qualitative methodology , based on hermeneutical epistemology, with narrative design and in-depth interview. In an interview it was found that caregivers manage their emotions from the characteristics associated with emotional components, also with emotional needs when these manifest as demands or requests from recognition, containment, also meanings attributed to elements that refer to obligation, duty and guilt , all focusing on divine commands. I raised it as a researcher looking for an investigation that would identify or allow knowing the emotional state of caregivers. By allowing the participants to enter their lives and through their story, it allowed them to be able to introspect from their thinking and feeling, to find the emotional deficiencies they have, how to face it from themselves, creating feelings and affection in them, which are given from everything. that their role can give and receive. At the same time, it is reflected in the care given to the child who is the object of their care, and this is managed with the different emotions that are regulated from their own experience on a physical level and expressing themselves on a verbal level, first of all, caregivers require both physical and psychological support, which is tied to what they pretend to be from the human, personal and professional.
