Abstract
Through this research project, it was sought to determine whether the protection measures adopted by the administration of the municipality of Neiva, during the 2018 period, constitute actions aimed at achieving the social inclusion of children and adolescents -NNA with physical disabilities, in protection of the right to education in the Official Educational Institutions of the city of Neiva, in accordance with the parameters established in Statutory Law 1618 of 2013, which aims to guarantee and ensure the effective exercise of the rights of the people belonging to this population group, allowing the elimination of all types of discrimination generated by their condition. To achieve this objective, the bibliographic review, the right to petition, and virtual surveys of the principals of the 37 Official Educational Institutions of Neiva were used. It was possible to conclude that the municipality of Neiva from the secretary of education, for the year 2018 signed different contracts with associations, cooperatives and suitable personnel in order to guarantee access, pedagogy and the psychological support required by children and adolescents with special educational needs and their families.
