Abstract
The COVID-19 health emergency in Colombia severely affected the economy of all regions of the country, and especially the Neiva city, where hundreds of informal vendors had to cease activities, its sales, as a form of prevention to avoid contagion or obligation by the order given from the National Government. They had to face the economic recession through subsidies and benefits granted by the State, even though they were insufficient to cover not only basic needs, but also to end debts with their creditors. From this came the need to investigate the impacts generated, directly in this sector and see what the margin of this is in the Neiva city. To analyze the situation a survey was designed applied to the selected sample of informal traders and of this information collected, a very structured analysis was made, giving answer to the research question asked.
