Abstract
Talk about the valuation of a business or a company, it is understood that it is related to business management, where a manager or director is the one who is in charge of carrying out and starting up said management, which as its name indicates will lead to the organization to achieve greater value as a company, and also to its shareholders who, together with the general management, will make the decisions. In the assessment it is pertinent to answer the questions what is being done? And for what and who is the assessment being done?
There are many methods used to carry out valuation of companies, one of the most used is that of cash flow discounts, where the company is considered as a cash generator, therefore, its shares and also debts are classified as other financial assets. Another widely used method is the so-called liquidation value, used at the end of the companies, for their liquidation.
The article shows the importance that valuations deserve in companies, regardless of their size, and the contribution and financial analysis that give them greater value.
