Abstract
MANTIC Lighting and Design is an entrepreneurship to design and manufacture decorative lighting products for the home, which began with the manufacture of two table lamp designs and which, at the request of potential customers, were manufactured one more of each to start sales. Is considering doing the business plan to formalize the venture.
The research revolves around the basic technical concepts of lighting, like as the types of light source and everything related to the energy consumption of each; applied ergonomics and the regulations that govern the sector.
A design concept is proposed based on the saying, strong as oak; the shape is explored by making 2D compositions and making design alternatives and showing renders of 3D modeling. All this leads to the final proposal, a family of 3 lighting products, the renders are shown specifying the details and alluding to the environment.
For the development of the business plan, initially entrepreneurship tools such as canvas were developed, a tool of the Bogota Emprende plan of the chamber of commerce, among others. Market research was carried out through social media, the Internet and physical visits.
