When the transfer is made, the lot available to the city is seen, where it can be intervened in many ways, but the best possible use will be sought so that it benefits the population and Neiva can continue in its development process. Neiva has a deficit of public space at the level of the urban area. A metropolitan park is the best option that can be proposed in this lot, giving it a use and solutions to all the road problems that arise in the sector, and that it can implement cultural and recreational level equipment that the city currently lacks.El Benito Salas es el aeropuerto de la ciudad de Neiva, ubicado entre la comuna 1 y 2, el cual lleva 48 años en funcionamiento y ha tenido reestructuraciones con el paso del tiempo, pero debido a su ubicación ha generado una serie de inconvenientes(Ambientales, viales, para los habitantes aledaños y el resto de la población, mediante esta investigación se analizara y se mostrara en evidencia como afectan estas problemáticas, por eso se propone un traslado hacia el municipio de Palermo, en la zona rural, específicamente a la vereda de San Miguel, lugar apto para la construcción de un nuevo aeropuerto, en donde se tiene en cuenta las problemáticas presentadas en su anterior locación para evitar que se presenten inconvenientes similares que puedan llegar a afectar a los ciudadanos y su entorno. Al realizarse el traslado se ve el lote disponible para la ciudad, donde puede ser intervenido de muchas maneras, pero se buscará el mejor uso posible para que beneficie a la población y puede Neiva seguir en su proceso de desarrollo. Neiva tiene déficit de espacio público a nivel del casco urbano.
