Abstract
Since the general objective of this research describe the constituent elements of a pedagogical proposal of mediation-based school for improving the achievement of a group of sixth graders from the Normal Jorge Isaacs of Roldanillo Valle, defined the study of the qualitative-descriptive type, having as main sign a group of 15 students who presented low academic performance, as well as their respective parents or caregivers, and the five teachers who dictate the different areas in this grade.
