El estudio parte del impacto económico global generado por la pandemia de COVID-19, que afectó significativamente el sector energético. A través de un análisis de los estados financieros de ambas empresas, el autor identifica cómo respondieron a la crisis y qué tan efectivas fueron sus estrategias de recuperación. Se justifica la investigación por el peso estratégico del sector energético en la economía colombiana y su importancia en la transición hacia energías renovables.
Abstract
The study focuses on the global economic impact generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which significantly affected the energy sector. Through an analysis of the financial statements of both companies, the author identifies how they responded to the crisis and the effectiveness of their recovery strategies. The research is justified by the strategic importance of the energy sector in the Colombian economy and its significance in the transition to renewable energy.
