La Era Digital, ha transformado la labor contable convirtiéndose en una gran aliada de los
contadores públicos, al facilitarle los procesos a través de herramientas tales como software,
plataformas electrónicas, y una serie de programas digitales, siendo esto, la principal motivación
de este trabajo investigativo cuyo objetivo fue Identificar el impacto de la nueva era digital en las
funciones y responsabilidades del contador público en Santa marta, esto se inició con la
elaboración de un rastreo bibliográfico de literatura científica sobre el tema, seguido de un análisis
de la información, este trabajo realizado permitió finalizar y evidenciar que, la era digital ha tenido
un impacto positivo en las funciones y responsabilidades de los contadores públicos, quienes han
asumido el reto de estos grandes aportes tecnológicos.
Abstract
The Digital Era has transformed accounting work, becoming a great ally of public
accountants, by facilitating processes through tools such as software, electronic platforms, and a
series of digital programs, this being the main motivation for this work. investigative whose
objective was to identify the impact of the new digital era on the functions and responsibilities of
the public accountant, for this it began with the preparation of a bibliographic search of scientific
literature on the subject, followed by an analysis of the information, all this work made allowed at
the end show that the digital era has had a positive impact on the functions and responsibilities of
public accountants, who have taken on the challenge of these great technological contributions.
