The nitriding treatment consists of introducing nitrogen on the surface of the steel which allows a surface hardening. This thermal process takes place in a temperature range of 400 to 620º C.eng

Este material es ampliamente usado en la industria dadas sus características mecánicas por ello se le realizaron diversos tratamientos para mejorar sus propiedades mecánicas tales como: dureza, resistencia al desgaste, resistencia a la corrosión y resistencia a la fatiga.spa
