Abstract
The objective of this market study is to develop a business plan for the creation of a spa in
the Madelia neighborhood of the city of Bogotá that allows determining its viability, to offer
high quality services in this sector, thus helping to meet the demand that has been increasing
in recent years. In its methodology, part of an analysis of factors, among which, the technical,
financial, market, competition, financial study was found and determine what is the impact
that it will generate in the specific context. It was obtained that the project can be developed
with an initial investment of $105,493,000, requires the acquisition of multiple services,
inputs, assets, and a cost of 30% in services with sales of 9,000. It is concluded that the
business plan for the creation of the Pradera SPA in the Modelia neighborhood of Bogotá is
viable with an IRR of 63% with an opportunity cost of 25%.
