El municipio de Campoalegre, Huila, enfrenta una carencia significativa de espacios
públicos destinados a la expresión y promoción destinados a la expresión y promoción cultural.
Esta situación impacta profundamente a sus habitantes, quienes ven limitadas sus oportunidades
para reunirse y fortalecer sus lazos comunitarios a través de la cultura. Los espacios disponibles
están sobre utilizados, lo que acelera su deterioro y restringe aún más el acceso a escenarios
adecuados para el desarrollo cultural de la comunidad.
Este trabajo propone una solución que surge de la propia necesidad de la comunidad: la
creación de nuevos espacios públicos que no solo promuevan la cultura, sino que también
respeten y protejan el entorno natural. A través de un enfoque metodológico participativo, se
recopilo la percepción de los habitantes, quienes ayudaron a identificar las zonas más necesitadas
y a evaluar el impacto que la falta de estos espacios tiene sobre la vida cultural de Campoalegre.
Se emplearon encuestas y observaciones para comprender mejor la realidad del municipio.
La propuesta busca integrar los nuevos espacios públicos en las áreas de protección
ambiental, creando lugares donde la comunidad pueda reunirse, participar y fortalecer su
identidad cultural. Además, plantea la construcción de infraestructuras sostenibles que no solo
impulsen el desarrollo cultural, sino que también fomenten la inclusión social. Este proyecto
tiene como objetivo devolver a los habitantes de Campoalegre espacios que refuercen su sentido
de pertenencia y su conexión con la cultura local, promoviendo un entorno que respete tanto el
medio ambiente como las dinámicas culturales de la comunidad.

Abstract
The municipality of Campoalegre, Huila, faces a significant lack of public spaces for
cultural expression and promotion. This situation deeply impacts its inhabitants, who see their
opportunities to meet and strengthen their community ties through culture limited. The available
spaces are overused, which accelerates their deterioration and further restricts access to suitable
settings for the cultural development of the community.
This work proposes a solution that arises from the community's own need: the creation of
new public spaces that not only promote culture, but also respect and protect the natural
environment. Through a participatory methodological approach, the perception of the inhabitants
was collected, who helped to identify the most needy areas and to evaluate the impact that the
lack of these spaces has on the cultural life of Campoalegre. Surveys and observations were used
to better understand the reality of the municipality.
The proposal seeks to integrate the new public spaces into the areas of environmental
protection, creating places where the community can meet, participate and strengthen its cultural
identity. Furthermore, it proposes the construction of sustainable infrastructures that not only
promote cultural development, but also foster social inclusion. This project aims to give the
inhabitants of Campoalegre spaces that reinforce their sense of belonging and their connection
with the local culture, promoting an environment that respects both the environment and the
cultural dynamics of the community.
