Orito, en el departamento de Putumayo, Colombia, es una región rica en biodiversidad y
cultura, con selvas tropicales, ríos y una variada flora y fauna. Su comunidad conserva las
tradiciones ancestrales y celebra su herencia cultural. Se ha identificado una oportunidad para
integrar los servicios ecosistémicos con el tejido urbano, pero la falta de espacios públicos es un
obstáculo para esta integración. Por lo tanto,
Al identificar las causas de desaprovechamiento de espacio público en el municipio y la
no articulación con los servicios ecosistémicos por falta de existencia de el mismo se concluyó
que el municipio puede llegar a la oportunidad de articulación con el aprovechamiento de
sectores que lleguen hacer conectores con el tejido urbano y los servicios ecosistémicos y
mitigando el déficit de espacio público efectivo.
Asimismo, se pretende generar una propuesta de espacio público de la red de parques
sostenibles en Orito-Putumayo, busca integrar los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible como
pilares fundamentales. En este sentido, se pretende articular las fuentes hídricas y el entorno
ambiental del municipio, aprovechando su riqueza natural para promover la conservación y el
uso responsable de los recursos. Además, se considera la inclusión de espacios de
comercialización local, fomentando la economía sostenible y apoyando a los productores locales.
Esta iniciativa no solo busca crear áreas verdes para el disfrute de la comunidad, sino también
fortalecer la identidad local y promover un desarrollo equitativo y conservación del medio
ambiente.

Abstract
Orito, in the department of Putumayo, Colombia, is a region rich in biodiversity and
culture, with tropical jungles, rivers and a varied flora and fauna. Your community preserves

integrate ecosystem services with the urban fabric, but the lack of public spaces is an obstacle to

By identifying the causes of wastage of public space in the municipality and the lack of
articulation with ecosystem services due to its lack of existence, it was concluded that the
municipality can reach the opportunity for articulation with the use of sectors that become
connectors with the urban fabric and ecosystem services and mitigating the deficit of effective
public space.
Likewise, it is intended to generate a public space proposal for the network of sustainable
parks in Orito-Putumayo, seeking to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals as
fundamental pillars. In this sense, the aim is to articulate the water sources and the environmental
environment of the municipality, taking advantage of its natural wealth to promote the
conservation and responsible use of resources. In addition, the inclusion of local marketing
spaces is considered, promoting a sustainable economy and supporting local producers. This
initiative not only seeks to create green areas for the enjoyment of the community, but also to
strengthen local identity and promote equitable development and environmental conservation.
