El siguiente artículo expone el análisis realizado sobre el municipio de Medina Cundinamarca, para el desarrollo de la zonificación de susceptibilidad a procesos de remoción en masa, donde se utilizan métodos de análisis espacial con herramientas SIG, en conjunto con el método estadístico bivariado. Allí se evaluaron distintas variables geoespaciales como la topografía, geología, geomorfología y uso del suelo, y se generó un inventario de 53 movimientos en masa a partir de datos del SGC, Google Earth y World Imagery de ESRI.
Abstract
The following article presents the analysis conducted on the zone of Medina, Cundinamarca, for the development of landslide susceptibility zoning, employing spatial analysis methods with GIS tools, in conjunction with the bivariate statistical method. Different geospatial variables such as topography, geology, geomorphology, and land use were evaluated, and an inventory of 53 mass movements was generated from data provided by the SGC, Google Earth and ESRI's World Imagery.
