Abstract
In this document, it was proposed to develop a prototype of a low-cost measurement system
for the detection of vibrations associated with chatter in CNC milling processes. An Arduino
microcontroller is used as the acquisition system and an MPU6050 accelerometer for the
instrumentation of the work, obtaining experimentally the dynamic behavior of the system,
from this the model is validated by means of analyzes carried out of the fast Fourier transform
and the lobe diagrams to determine stable and unstable points in which the chatter can exist
during the milling process
