Abstract
This study analyzes the effect of the PEE program, which was designed taking into account the needs detected in a group of students from the tenth grade of the José Antonio Ricaurte educational institution, for that aim the instrument of parenting practices (CPC- P) Aguirre (2011) was used. The need to work on the emotional expression of both parents and adolescents was identified. The management of emotions is part of the pillars that support family mediation in family dynamics. An exploratory-pre-experimental design was used, with a single group, where the independent variable was the PEE program and the dependent variable was Emotional expression. In the analysis of results, it is evident that after the implementation of the program, the objectives proposed for the study were accomplish, and, from the statistical point of view, significant differences in emotional expression were observed, since in the analysis of mean differences in the pre and post test scores were t = 2,585 and a p = 0.012 *, p <.05.
