Abstract
According to the results found in a diagnostic test implemented in the Spanish class, with fifth grader students of Basic Primary at Rincón de los Ángeles Gymnasium School, in which a low level of interpretive competence was found, it was proposed the design of a didactic unit, which allows students to identify, understand and interpret the non-linguistic code through tribal tattoos.
